In case any of the following eight impediments to the safety of a flight have been repeated or continued, the Captain has the right to issue a “prohibition order” to cease such acts.
Any person failing to comply with the following-mentioned prohibition orders may be subject to a fine of up to JPY500,000.
Smoking in the lavatory may cause fire.
The use of restricted electronic devices on board may hinder the safe operation of the aircraft.
Passengers must not interfere with the flight crew’s operation by abusing, intimidating, or sexually harassing the flight crew for any reason.
If you are thrown out of your seat by sudden turbulence, etc. not only you, but others may get injured.
Not returning your seat, table or footrest may block evacuation routes.
Leaving baggage in the aisle, etc. may block, or interfere with evacuation routes. Also it is dangerous as baggage may be thrown around by sudden turbulence.
Do not move or use emergency equipment such as life jackets or fire extinguishers without the flight crew’s instructions.
It is extremely dangerous to operate the handles and switches of the cabin doors or emergency exits without the flight crew’s instructions.
